Groups

God made us to be in community with one another. The heartbeat of our church is found in our groups. At Oaks, we have two types of groups: Tribes and Huddles.

Tribes are community groups of 10-15 people that meet each week to grow closer together and closer to God through fellowship and spiritual conversation. Tribes are where you will find your people!

Huddles are discipleship groups of 4-5 people that also meet each week to strengthen their relationship with Jesus together. Huddles will change your life!

Oaks Kids

Oaks Kids is a disciple-making children’s ministry for kids and parents. Oaks Kids is a safe, fun, and clean environment in which your child can build relationships and grow in their knowledge of Jesus. We want kids to know Jesus loves them and grow in their knowledge of Him. We want to support parents as they raise their children to love the Lord and follow Him.

Nursery, Pre-school, and K-5 meet every Sunday during service!

Oaks College

College students in Tuscaloosa — this is your home away from home!

Oaks College exists to assist students at the University of Alabama and Shelton State to leverage their life for the Gospel.

We meet several times throughout the semester for Late Night, where we worship together, are challenged by the Bible, and are equipped to engage our city, campus, and world with the Gospel. We also engage UA’s campus with outreach events, retreat together, and serve our city, nation, and world with the Gospel together.

  • Campus Tribes are the best place for college students in Tuscaloosa to find their biblical community!
  • We work alongside our Sending Team to help send students through NAMB and the IMB.
  • Oaks College will help you through Oaks membership and find ways for you to serve at Oaks!

Missions

Missions

Our Sending Team organizes short term mission trips for members of Church at the Oaks as well as assists students who anticipate going on mission throughout the year. We partner with the sending efforts of NAMB and the IMB.

Oaks Worship

Our Worship Team consists of our worship band and production team. We serve to help the church worship Jesus daily. You can expect bright, encouraging, and true worship songs every time we meet together for worship!
