THE LEGACY CAMPAIGN

ESTABLISHING A LASTING PRESENCE. MAKING AN ETERNAL IMPACT

Why Legacy Fund?

Church at the Oaks was planted with a dream—to reach the campus and city with the gospel and make disciples who multiply. In just a few years, we’ve seen lives changed, communities formed, and the nations engaged. But we believe God is just getting started.

To continue the mission, we need a permanent home—a place for worship, discipleship, sending, and growth.

Our Goal

Raising funds to secure exceptional facilities near campus, ensuring Oaks continues to reach and send disciple-makers long after we’re gone.

Campaign Phases

Phase 1 – $1.5 Million
Establish a ministry center for weekday gatherings, discipleship training, youth ministry, worship rehearsals, and more. (We’ll continue Sunday services at Moody.)

Phase 2 – $5 Million
Purchase land (5–10 acres) near campus for future expansion and development.

Phase 3 – $25 Million
Construct a 40,000 sq ft facility for worship, training, and sending—becoming a long-term launch pad for gospel work in Tuscaloosa and beyond.

How Can You Be Involved?

As we step forward in faith, we invite you to be a part of this vision. Give, pray, and share so that Church at the Oaks can continue reaching and sending for generations to come.

1. Pray Boldly
Ask God to provide the resources, open doors, and lead every step of the journey. Pray for lives to be changed and leaders to be sent.

2. Give Generously
All gifts to the Legacy Campaign go toward land, facilities, and new church plants.

3. Share the Story
Invite others to join the mission. Share your story and tell others why you believe in what God is doing through Oaks.

Frequently Asked Questions

While the Moody Music Building has been a great place to gather, it is a shared facility used by various University of Alabama classes, organizations, and events. As a result, scheduling conflicts can arise, limiting our ability to plan and grow consistently. Additionally, the ongoing cost of renting a space we do not have full access to presents challenges for long-term ministry. Investing in a dedicated space will allow us to grow together as a church while creating more opportunities to share the gospel effectively.
